Vulcan
L and XL Certified.
From
Robbie Whitall at Ozone:
Good
news for the big boys, last week Dav went to Switzerland and got the
L and XL Vulcan certified. This now means that we are only waiting
for the XS, which is half way there, but we are waiting for the
heavy weight test flight to be done.
So
far we have been very happy indeed with the reports and feedback we
have received from the other sizes we have already completed and are
out there being flown. It is the wing we wanted to bring in terms of
feeling and performance and it appears you agree with us so far.
Octane pilots love it and feel at home immediately and newcomers to
the "Ozone feeling" have no trouble adapting to the nihmble
well co-ordinated handling. But as ever don't take our word for it,
nip down your local dealer and get a smooth but sporty ride!
It's
all good news this month, the McDaddy 41 is ready with a DHV 1-2.
This means that if you are a lightweight tandem pilot or fly in
strong winds then we got the glider for you. It's easy to fly, has
great performance and its fast, we know you like that! We realise
that a tandem flight should be as enjoyable for the pilot as the
passenger. To achieve this we have worked to make a tandem feel and
respond like a solo glider. OK the brake pressure is heavier than a
solo wing but as tandems go we think you will be very surprised.
McDaddy
44 on the way.
It's
coming very soon, the big brother to the McDaddy 41. This is going
to be for the big boys and we promise the same characteristics as
the 41. Its going to be an ideal choice for pilots over 85kg or for
light conditions depending on where you fly. Keep watching and we
will have good news for you very soon.
