The quality of metamorfosi emergency parachutes is demonstrated by hundreds of openings, from hang gliders as well as paragliders. The main features of our Conar emergency chutes are:

  1. Pulled-down apex: for a given surface area, the pulled down apex reduces sink-rate and opening time.
  2. Reversed Apex Cone -Conar patent- increases stability, improves sink-rate by 20% and opening time by 10%.
  3. Reduced surface area: the smaller surface area reduces opening time and cuts down overall dimensions.
  4. Reduced weight: the low weight facilitates the throwing action and improves deployment expecially at low airspeeds.
  5. Reduced bulk: gives no trouble when not in use.
  6. Two-compartment chute container: protects the suspension lines and allows canopy deployment only after their complete extension.
  7. Semi-rigid launch handle with safety pins and elastics to prevent accidental deployment.
  8. Plastic-coated aluminium UV protection.
    Kevlar canopy structure, replaceable lines and V tab reinforcements, are standard in the Conar parachutes
  9. Braid bridle to achieve an higher tear resitence and protected from UV radiation.
  10. Suspension lines sheath to reduce probability of line fouling during deployment.
  11. V-tab reinforcement of suspension lines attachment.
  12. Easy to replace suspension lines.
  13. Combination of folded-in corners and central tunnel created during folding, enhances correct opening sequence and cuts down deployment time.
  14. Pouch design facilitates extraction and holds chute in case of accidental pin extraction.
